As Creative Director for Adobe Road Winery I regularly produced new design concepts for package production. Following the design of the 2016 Adobe Road Redline, the wine performed so well that my employer directed me to produce 3 other racing series labels to build a secondary label under the Adobe Road Winery brand.

These are just a few samples of the printed marketing materials produced for Adobe Road Winery. Flyers, brochures, rack-cards, business cards and email collection cards.
I have done layout and design for hundreds of magazines, brochures, postcards and flyers. I'm very comfortable utilizing Indesign for what it was intended.
This was a the third label I designed for winemaker Steve Morvai of Les Caves Rotie De Pente and Zaron Wines. The label was named after Steve's son Zaron, a Sagittarius. This is what inspired the bow with horse heads on the tips.
I was hired to update and enhance the illustrated "mascot" of St. Florian's Brewery in Windsor, CA. Click on preview to see the comparison to the original brand illustration. The package design was completed by The Design Guild of Petaluma.
In my time working for Adobe Road Winery I've completed a number of vector maps ranging from geographical, appellation based and topographical.

I typically produced 30-60 (12 - 32 page) promotional and sponsorship brochures per year for The Racers Group.
As Creative Director for The Racers Group I designed and produced hundreds of flyers, event lanyard ID's, business cards, posters and more.
This was a project that Tony Najiola, owner of Central Market asked me to assist with. The poster and flyer designs promoted a small wine festival he organized, which featured only sustainable, organic or biodynamic wine producers.
It was so nice, they did it twice. The next year of the Natural Wine Festival I started to loosen up and had a bit more fun with with the concepts. The final design's humor based undertones were well received by the client, and definitely stood out in a dining room. There is something quite jarring and attention getting about seeing bare feet in a high-end restaurant.
I was commissioned to do some t-shirts for Clavey Padlesports in Petaluma, CA. The designs where simple vector illustrations representing the water sports their company supported.
I did some work for the local "stylist to the stars," Joe Hamer in 2006 when I moved from Manhattan to Petaluma. Culture shock is real by the way. I also helped Joe with store front posters to promote the salon as well.

Some friends asked me to design them a shirt for a friendly, neighborhood cooking competition. All I wanted to accomplish for this design was something, that if found in a thrift store in the future, would blow someone's mind. It's not everyday you see a robot, dinosaur and gorilla fighting over a bowl of cheesy pasta.
It's tough to find the time, but I do like to do pro-bono work when I can. I designed the Winter Show posters for my kid's school, two years in a row.

The 2016 poster was much more of a graphic design project than the previous year's illustrated elements.
